Paulo Lingbanan Avelino, Igorot
If what reached me is right, Paulo Avelino’s middle name is Lingbanan (her Mom’s full maiden name is Jennilyn Lingbanan) from Bontoc, Mountain Province. That makes him an Igorot. I’m just wondering why he never mentioned it. Is he one of those parents ko lang ang Igorot? Or is he trying to distance himself from Marky Cielo to avoid possible backlash from those who think that one Igorot is enough for StarStruck?
He might have preferred to say he is from Baguio because it’s where he grew up (Marky only went to Baguio for college studies). Anyway…

Its a good thing to know that Igorots are now gaining the confidence to face the world… Its very appreciating to know that the conservative pepz are now going out… showing their talents… Exploring shobiznez… But who should be proud of you if you can’t reveal the truth that your blood is half the blood of the known Igorots…. paulo????magaling siya aside from being cute…but the big ???? i am sure before he stepped starstruck he just one of the cool guys denying their main root making them not proud of being an igorot. Yap…as if they belong to those who say “mama ko lang ang igorot”. What’s wrong with being an igorot…for everybody’s informaition igorots excell in the whole world…have a personal research….so it’s just the same…we should be proud of it. Like Marky, he was very much proud to say so….no doubt the whole of igorotlandia helped him won. it saddens me to hear such crappy lie from paulo avelino.. tsk tsk.. i remember seeing a video of him at the University of Baguio Science High School claiming that he studied there, and for some reason it just implied that he graduated there… WRONG! remember si alma moreno ay igorota at maputi siya. ganun siguro si paulo. proud naman siya sa pagiging igorot niya at lagi niyang pinasasalamatan ang mga kailyans niya sa blog niya. hindi lang niya pinangangalandakan kasi baka sabihin ng iba na ginagamit niya ang pagiging igorot niya para sumikat.
