Almost everybody knew he was the first to go. So they tried to make it more intersting and capitalized on the shock effect. Imagine Iwa Moto and Rea Nakpil almost getting the boot?! This only means several things, aside from the shock effect — they want to see if Iwa and Rea can draw a big following. By rattling the viewers, StarStruck is trying to realign fan following and establish strong loyalty to these two early on in the game. They also want to remind the new stars to keep their feet planted on the ground. They won’t last long if they start acting like they own the world already.
But I didn’t like it that the blond wanna wanted Rea to start shedding tears because she is in the bottom three. What’s wrong if she keeps on smiling, ba? She’s feeling nervous and smiling is her way of coping up with the situation.
I’m tired of these Simon Cowell by the dozen personalities: Louie Igancio and the guest judges from Melanie to Maybeline espasol queen to the you-think-you’re-beautiful Salon rep. Kung sa tingin ninyo pasaway sila, shouldn’t you have brought them to grace school first before latting them face the camera? Gusto lang yata ninyo silang pahiyain cuz it sells. Eto lang yata ang ayaw ko sa SS3. They keep blaming the kids when stop gap measures should have been done before things turn bad.
