Action and Fantasy

Aspira
Sara and Marky. Long dialogs na nakaya nila. But it’s the ugliest srcipt and the chroma was bad.

Eyeball
Iwa and Chuck. Depth not required. both handled it well, but nothing extra-ordinary happened. They just had to do what they already know.

After Bugz, it seems Sara will be saying goodbye.

‘D’ as in Douglas, ‘D’ as in dance

Thursday, December 29th, 2005

Babalik na si Douglas Nierras sa StarStruck this first week of January 2006! Pagkaka-interesan niya si Vivo malamang. Pero mas OK lang na siya nagagalit kasya kay Louie.

Douglas Nierras, the Streetboys and Ms. Geleen Eugenio will teach the newbies how to groove and strut their stuff. Will any of them be the next Bad Boy or Girl of the dance floor like Mark Herras?

He is tall pala at mukhang mabait. Oops, this show is about the SS finalists pala. Pang spice lang ang council. OK just one of them. :))

Thursday StruckFlicks

Curfew (Lasing) I forgot the title
Vivo and Jackie. Vivo has no capacity to act with initiative. Everything has to be told to him.

Dyahe
Arci and Bugz. According to Quark, Bugz acts like a robot.

That’s what they consider drama and comedy?

Wednesday StruckFlicks

Wednesday, December 28th, 2005

Great cinematography, flimsy dialogs (altough great acting could have saved the redundant narrative). The first one was much better executed than the second. Parang MTV. Great soundtrack.

Rosa Mia
Jana and Johan. Johan can do drama but he is not consistent. Anger is too exaggerated, not heartfelt. Jana? Good enough, but sometimes she looks happy even if she should look worried.

Pangga Palangga ko si Ate
Rea and Gian. I told Gian is best for comedy. He still has a problem with his accent. Reminds me of Paolo Paraiso in Etheria tuloy. Medyo mababaw ang role ni Rea dito. Pero as usual, stanout pa rin. Hmm, but why did she look like Cita Astals during their workshop?

Pwedeng makaangat si Vivo over Gian sa test na ito. At least Vivo can cry.

Johan seems to have a chance over Bugz, too. Tingnan natin ang sa kanila bukas (malamang).

Test 22 acting workshop best and worst

Test 22: Acting Workshop

According to the guest judge who has a credible experience in handling theater and television workshops:

Best Female Performance: Rea Nakpil
Best Male Performance: Marky Cielo

Worst Female Performance: Jackie Rice (for being so shy)
Worst Male Performance: Gian Carlos (for being so young and naive)

Will Bugz go first before Johan?

Official StarStruck Blogs

Monday, December 26th, 2005

Chuck Allie’s blog is now up, but is being moderated. Is he the one doing the moderation, or is it a staff of New Media? Accordingly, He had a gay lover named Jay Errol or something.

Vaness del Moral said goodbye too early, before the viewers got to see the show. It was a delayed telecast, I suppose, because she declared herself Second Avenger at 6pm. I never thought na siya matatanggal kanina.

Bugz Daigo’s blog doesn’t accept comments anymore, after he earned the ire of Marky’s fans and his former Cebuano fans who thought he knew how to be politically correct. He was being defended some negative commentary, then he made his big goof afterwards.

Of course, Marky Cielo’s blog has become a venue for historico-political and socio-cultural exchange. Malalim ang iniisip ng fan base niya. And I’m not talking about myself, LOL.

Goodbye, Vaness del Moral

Monday, December 26th, 2005

What is stardom without hair? She chose to respect her contract with H&S to the detriment of her chance to last longer in StarStruck. Her leaving is actually good for her, kasi nga bagay talaga sa kanya na maging kontrabida, which means she has a higher chance of being seen on TV sooner kahit na madaming may ayaw sa kanya.

I was actually shocked that she was the one removed. Although I complained a lot about her asta, I actually thought she would be the third girl to go, not the first. Hopefully, her supporters will make the decision of fortifying the solid North and support the other remaining candidate, Marky.

PS
I like Head and Shoulders.
