Brace Yourself for Starstruck 3
Mark, Jennylyn, Yasmien, Rainier, Ryza, Mike, LJ, CJ. Do you want your name to be added to this dazzling list of stars? Prepare to Dream, Believe and Survive with the third season of Starstruck.
Let’s start off with the new member of the council. No less than Ms. Lorna Tolentino will join the tougher and more demanding set of judges. Through the seasons, the council members have made their points across. No less than the best and the most talented will penetrate the coveted slot of being in the top four. Ms. Lorna T., Director Louie Ignacio and Mr. Joey de Leon will make sure that this tradition continues.
Another new face will be added to the already impressive hosts of Starstruck. Joining youth icons Jolina Magdangal and Dingdong Dantes is the smooth talking, heart-stealing other half of the Gutierrez twins, Raymond. He will surely provide a fresh point of view to the show.
This season, 7 boys and 7 girls will be chosen from Mega Manila while 7 boys and 7 girls will be chosen from the provinces. Key points include Davao, Iloilo, Dagupan, Cebu, and Naga. This means that a total of 14 boys and 14 girls will come from various parts of the country. They will fight it out to be part of Starstruck’s Batch III.
From the Final Four (2 Boys and 2 Girls), TWO ultimate survivors will be chosen (1 Boy and 1 Girl). Each ultimate survivor will win P1 MILLION CASH and a P2-MILLION EXCLUSIVE GMA MANAGEMENT CONTRACT. But there’s a twist to the nationwide talent search. From the two ultimate survivors, one SOLE SURVIVOR will be declared which will earn him or her an extra prize.
So, if you are, 15 to 18 years old and if you can sing, dance and act, then you can be the next “IT†girl or boy of the local showbiz industry. To view the schedule and download the registration form, visit the official Starstruck website.
The odds are tough but the end is all worth it. Starstruck batch 1 ultimate survivors Jen and Mark now have several television shows and movies under their belt, proving that they are now stars on their own right. Mike Tan and Ryza Cenon of Batch 2 are also rising celebrities who have worked with the best and continue to improve their skills.
New rules, new game but with the same intensity and the same ultimate result, a new star will emerge. Do not miss the trials, the tension, the drama, as showbiz hopefuls vie for the coveted title of Starstruck ultimate survivor.
