Bakekang is an avid movie fan who falls for a celebrity named Christoph. She endures the spite of his mean-spirited girlfriend Valeria. Both Bakekang and Valeria later give birth to daughters who then continue their mother’s fight. Bakekang has two: the beautiful yet Kristal and the unglamorous yet talented Charming. She becomes a stagemother who dotes on Kristal but ignores Charming. Both daughters have to go against Lorraine, who is Valeria’s daughter and Kristal’s archrival. Like their mothers, they also compete for the affections of the same men who must decide whether to love the beauty without or the beauty within.

Isabel Oli as ‘Bakekang’?

August 18th, 2005 by Blogforce
UPDATE: September 10, 2006
Sunshine Dizon is Bakekang. Photos here.

It seems that it’s true that it usually takes a year to plan for a primetime show. Bakekang was floated last year, and the cast isn’t final yet even up to now. This may be shown after StarStruck 3 because by that time, Sugo will have ended already. But this is just me talking.

[source]
